Purpose of This Guide

This Credit Guide is provided to you in accordance with the National Consumer Credit Protection Act 2009 (NCCP Act). It is designed to help you decide whether to use our credit assistance services. Please read this guide carefully before engaging our services.

How We Are Paid

Our services are provided at no cost to you. We are paid by the lender when your loan settles. This does not affect the interest rate or fees you pay.

Upfront Commission

When your loan settles, the lender pays us an upfront commission. This is typically between 0.3% and 0.7% of the loan amount (inclusive of GST), depending on the lender and product type. For example, on a $50,000 car loan, the upfront commission might be between $150 and $350.

Trail Commission

Some lenders also pay an ongoing trail commission for the life of the loan. This is typically between 0.0% and 0.15% per annum of the outstanding loan balance. Not all products include trail commissions.

Referral Fees

We may pay referral fees to third parties who refer clients to us, or receive referral fees when we refer you to other service providers. Any referral arrangement will be disclosed to you prior to providing credit assistance.

You are entitled to request further details about the commissions or fees we receive in relation to your loan. Please contact us if you would like this information.

Our Lender Panel

We have access to a panel of 50+ lenders, including major banks, non-bank lenders, and specialist financiers. Our panel is reviewed regularly to ensure we can offer competitive products across a range of lending needs. We are not required to compare all products in the market — only those available on our panel.

Complaints

Internal Dispute Resolution

We will acknowledge your complaint within 1 business day and aim to resolve it within 30 calendar days. We will keep you informed of the progress of your complaint.

External Dispute Resolution

If you have a complaint about our services, please contact us first at info@australianlendinggroup.com.au. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA) at www.afca.org.au or 1800 931 678.

Privacy

We are committed to protecting your personal information. We collect, use, and disclose your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988.

The personal information we collect is used to assess your finance application and provide our services. We may disclose your information to lenders, valuers, insurers, and other parties involved in the lending process.
